RTO Course

Graduates of this course will be able to:

• Lead and coordinate security teams effectively
• Apply strategic planning and operational management in security environments
• Manage personnel, contracts, and resources efficiently
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Develop, implement, and review security operations and compliance plans
• Apply legislative, ethical, and organisational policies in operational decisions
• Investigate incidents and maintain workplace documentation

Participants should:

• Be experienced or senior security officers seeking leadership roles
• Hold relevant security licences and qualifications where required
• Possess operational experience in security or related fields
• Have sufficient English, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Be able to participate in online and workshop-based learning

• CPPSEC4001 – Manage work health and safety in the security work environment
• CPPSEC4002 – Coordinate security operations
• CPPSEC4005 – Implement security risk management plans
• CPPSEC4022 – Establish and implement ethics and governance arrangements for security businesses

Graduates can progress to:

• CPP41519 Certificate IV in Security Risk Analysis
• CPP50619 Diploma of Security and Risk Management

This qualification also enhances eligibility for roles such as:

• Security Supervisor / Team Leader
• Operations Coordinator
• Control Room Manager
• Security Consultant or Risk Advisor

• $2,650 – Online study option
• $1250 – RPL (NOTE: All RPL enquiries will be referred on to Asset College)

Payment Options:

• Pay-as-you-go: 4 instalments
• Split payment: 50% upfront, 50% on completion

Additional Fees:

• Extension: One month – $150 (full qualification), $50 (single unit); Six months – $300 (full qualification), $150 (single unit)
• Assessment re-submission: $50 per assessment after two failed attempts
• Re-enrolment: 25% of course fee (within 3 months), 50% (within 4–12 months)

Completion provides a Certificate in CPP40719 Certificate IV in Security Management.
This nationally recognised qualification supports progression into senior, managerial, or supervisory roles within the Australian security industry.
