Entry Requirements
Participants must:
- Hold a current Queensland Security Officer (Unarmed) licence
- Meet all Queensland Office of Fair Trading (OFT) eligibility requirements
- Provide valid photo identification
- Be physically capable of performing manual handling and operational tasks
- Have sufficient English language, literacy, and numeracy skills for safety and communication requirements
Units of Competency
This nationally recognised skill set includes the following units:
- CPPSEC3118 – Inspect and test cash-in-transit security equipment
- CPPSEC3119 – Carry and protect valuables in transit
- CPPSEC3120 – Load and unload cash-in-transit in a secured environment
These units form the essential foundation for lawful, safe, and efficient CIT operations.

Licensing Requirements
This skill set meets the training requirements for endorsement to perform cash-in-transit duties in Queensland under the Security Providers Act 1993 (QLD).
Successful participants will receive a Certificate for the three units, which must be submitted to the Office of Fair Trading when applying for or updating their CIT licence endorsement.
